my dad always says, you’re a bird. this is something his mother used to say and since she passed away, he says this and has taken a particular affection towards birds in general. in fact, we call him birdman (no not the rapper for he still uses the phrase groovy, so rapping is out of the question) but more then anything because you can often find him posted up with his binoculars watching birds. today he and my mom paid us a lovely visit and took us to sunday brunch at last resort. I love being able to mix things I love from home with things I love from school.it was so great seeing you mom and dad. please come back soon.

**that is not a bird on my dad’s butt. he has chicken legs and no butt so I’m not sure a bird could even sit on him.
