my first encounter with the barney’s fashion director was when I was working at narciso rodriguez last summer and she stopped by on her way out of town to see the collection. I was amazed by how adorable and simple she was with jean cut off shorts, a striped shirt and wedges and how incredibly nice she was, even to me, an intern wearing all black, as not to stand out. I saw her again at the show, and not remembering at the time who she was, could not get out of my mind how adorable her messy-curled hair was. and it’s true, I think she was who finally made me cut mine. now I just need to master the curl.
