classic style

in terms of clothes, I tend to like the latest and rarely the greatest. especially now that I am flat broke. I feel like the only things I can afford are the trendy things that are too cheap to last me long. so I’m doing my best to gather some savings and buy quality things that I’ll love forever (or for longer than a few wears.) I also would like to transition a bit of my style to an overall classic and more tailored look with a paler and neutral color palette. cue gasp. I tend to shy away from that style because sometimes the functionality of pretty feminine pieces cannot withhold my clumsy, let-me-dump-my-whole-smoothie-on-myself kind of lifestyle. also I think I look silly in things like pearls. I like to think I’ve got “funky” style. but I’m kind’ve interested in changing a few things...maybe it’s paris, or maybe it’s the way I feel when I’m wearing stripes+barbour jacket+ballet flats. but I got a little taste of something I like and I want more.
