I learned early on that nothing in france seems to be time sensitive. they have a very c’est la vie mentality that can be quite annoying to anyone who is used to things getting done in a timely manner. this past week my cell phone got cut off and when sara called their only response was, just wait and it should eventually turn back on. after waiting almost a month to get my bank card I wasn’t looking forward to just how long this wait could be. I’m still waiting for documents to be translated, my medical exam to take place and for health insurance to go through. but ce n’est pas grave, I’m in paris and I’ve recently realized the parisian lifestyle is concerned about only one time related thing-- now which delicious pastry should I eat next?
