I would be lying if I didn’t admit to my obsession with ethnic prints. this love began as a child, was enhanced through a trip to Africa and has developed into something that I am focusing on for a documentary photo assignment/blog this semester in photography. my eyes are drawn to the shapes, patterns, colors and even more so the stories of the cultures where these textiles were made. for a while now I’ve been thinking I’d like to pursue some sort of a business in researching or sourcing things like this where I’d be able to travel to all of these amazing places.
