some people were born with the innate instinct to be a ball hog. if you know me well, you know that wasn’t exactly my calling. I was born to be a mic hog. not to be a star, because I do not think I have a good voice or that any part of me looks cute while I’m singing, but I thrive up there. and I’d like to think I give one hell of a performance. this past weekend I danced and swooned over three black divas, in hopes that they’d scoot on over and let me join. I practically begged the band to sing jackson five abc and when they said they didn’t know the words, they told me I could come on stage for a solo. you better believe I jumped on that in a heartbeat. best night eva.
