I’ve gotten such good news lately and am absolutely overcome with joy. most of the time I’m okay with what I’m missing out on back home but it’s the big tings like this that make it difficult because I don’t like to miss out on any part of the celebrating and excitement. I want to be with you all as much as possible for so much of the next few months, but know I’m thinking of y'all tons!

firstly, my sister and her husband are pregnant with their third baby. as if I don’t adore their first two children enough (please read the email lauren sent me last week about them) and I couldn’t be more excited to meet the third!! with spring nearing it makes me miss charleston and the frequent trips I used to take to visit the heubers. their home and family life is exactly what I hope to one day have in my own life but it’s such a special treat to be so much younger and get to just be an aunt and sister for a while longer. I’m so sad to not be able to watch you grow lauren and enjoy these special months with you. especially your week on the back patio at mom mom’s for easter. eat lots of mozzo for me and walk the bridge and be expecting me to take some pregger portraits when I get home!

also, this past weekend my best friend katie got engaged!! because I thought it might happen while I was gone, we thankfully got to share a special moment together over christmas walking around weymouth and talking about how the night could happen. and more importantly I got to squeeze her congratulations. katie, hopefully you won’t be getting married until next summer (right??) so I won’t miss out on too many things and hopefully you’ll be able to come visit me in paris as a celebration! I’m so happy for you and sean and yes you can hire me as your wedding planner!
