Dear Trina Turk,
With all due respect, please stop being such a trina. Now you might be unfamiliar with the word trina, since it’s been your name for forever. So here’s a bit of background. Trina can be defined as a diva, a drama quaaaan, etc. It’s ‘that girl who dresses up in a prom dress for a high school football game’ kind of thing. It can be used as a noun, verb, or an adjective and is said around the adpi house every ten words, if not more often then that. When I say it to you I don’t mean it derogatory, I simply have some constructive criticism.
You see for years I have been awkwardly obsessed with your clothes. You were my idol. You were the reason I wanted to design clothes. The day you got your own website was a celebration. Keep in mind this is bookmarked on my computer. I constantly checked your sales, searched ebay on a daily basis, and referenced you in casual conversation. Clearly I was looking for deals, but not always willing to pay full price. You’re expensive but I won’t be picky about that right now.
Thing is, I’m a little unimpressed these days. I understand that the winter season is a lull for fashion design. I’ll admit all I’m looking for right now are sweaters with ruffles of different shades of grays. But come on. You’re somebody I thought I could count on. My senior year of high school was a great year for you. Need I remind you of those days so you can again make things so pretty on the eyes? All I ask is that you please don’t let me down this spring.
Best regards,
Christina
