another memorial weekend has come and gone. unfortunately this year we didn't have to sleep in tents and lisa didn't get logs stacked on top of her while she slept. this was the fourth or sixth summer (or somewhere inbetween) that we've all been together to celebrate. in high school, we found it as a much-needed break, only to return for the last few days of exams and petty nonsense before summertime. but now it's different. it's the reunion of all of us. all of us who are living college lives far away from each other and don't get to see each other as often as needed. it's the laughs and excitments and endless stories. a few short days of all day sunshine and the laughter with old friends is a tradition I hope we continue years from now when we're all married and all still best friends.
