the advice my brother-in-law told me before I left: even if purple hair is cool in paris, it’s not cool in the united states. and while no, I’m not looking for purple, I have an itch. a really horrible, terrible itch that my mom would absolutely kill me if I went through with. but none the less, I’m contemplating it. I really would love to color my hair. the winter months don’t do me any good and my hair turns a mousey blonde color so I’m considering doing something about it. I would love a rich auburn color or even a deeper shade of brown and lately I tend to be envious of every girl that passes me.
