our little gem, not gym

I knew before I moved to france there would be a few foods that would be difficult for me to be without. I knew things like sweet tea, bacon biscuits, wedgies and mexican food would be at the top of this list and I wasn’t exactly looking forward to things like baguettes and ham all the time. us americans have been discussing how much we missed our weekly mix of mexican for a while now and thankfully, last week we were told to try mexi&co and absolutely loved it. it’s a small little place, as are most things in europe I’ve learned, with mismatched colorful chairs and with art and random things hanging from the ceiling. the men who work there were so nice and fun and danced in the kitchen the whole time they cooked the food. so while unfortunately it’s no agua linda or taqueria, and no they don’t make cheese dip the good way, it’ll do just fine.
